In this Holiday Season 2017, and into the New Year 2018, it is important for us to remember what true joy is, and is not. It is so easy to get caught up in the commercialism. Following is my humble list I use as a reminder to myself of what really gives us joy. True joy is found in:
How do we prepare ourselves to do the above? We must put ourselves in the right frame of mind in order to think the right thoughts. It is only after our heart and mind are synchronized in positive thoughts of love that we are able to physically go forward and take action. It is helpful to remember the everyday moments throughout our life when we experienced joy. By focusing on these times we can stay balanced and happy. Let there be joy–
Like a sunset when the sun burns through clouds and mist, giving starts as an ember, warm and glowing. Each time we give, we fuel that ember and it becomes a fire that warms our hearts and souls and leads us to do more–we are no longer lost or frustrated, but now we are set upon a glorious path, straight and sure.
